Kitsuné has been responsible in part for breaking many ubiquitous electronic artists through various 12" singles and their Kitsuné Maison compilation series such as Hot Chip, La Roux ,Klaxons, Boys Noize, Crystal Castles, Foals, Gossip, The Whip, Digitalism, AutoKratz, Simian Mobile Disco and many more. Gildas & Masaya The brians behind the label will be holding court but not before bringing a slice of their style and attitude to proceedings with a dj set full of new unreleased Kitsune gems, and giving the party a kick along the way. Delphic Mamchester's newest hero'srecently brought out their debut single ‘Counterpoint’ on R&S Records and are fast building a reputation as one of the most exciting new bands in the UK. Somewhere between New Order and the Chemical Brothers, Underworld and Muse, live they throw guitars, bass and drums over electronics to realise their unique sound as they stitch their songs together into one continuous onslaught. Chew Lips Appearing hot on the heels of their brilliant single ‘Solo’ that brought them to the attention of many an A+R, as well as being picked up and championed by Steve Lamacq. The band’s Casio/guitar/bass/drum machine backdrop is the perfect platform for Tigs, their soon to be iconic frontwoman. Autokratz, One of the flagbearers of the new British electronic music scene, release their debut album, ‘Animal’, in June, with this acting as a springboard for the release. They will be performing with a brand new live show. They have become one of the most sought after new live bands in the past few months, and this summer is there’s for the taking. We Have Band The trio have fast been making a name for themselves in recent months and they’ll bring their unique twist on Depeche Mode and The Human League to the Scala. Streetlife DJ Completing the bill in room 2, having remixed CSS and made a name for themselves on the label with there acclaimed "We Love the Disco Sound" and "Gun Crime" 12" the duo always deliver a flawless and exciting dj set everytime. Kitsune has long been a label that has led rather than followed, and this night at the Scala, coupled with this compilation it celebrates, cements their reputation as tastemakers extraordinaire. Combining music and fashion, they are always sriving for the new and exciting, never happy to sit still. They are daring and exciting, much like this line up. London's Neon Noise Project, the bespoke event promoter and creators, have joined forces again with Kitsune, one of their favourite labels.
