After a long New York absence, Varg returns from Sweden for another live set. Alongside various collaborators and on various labels including Northern Electronics, Ascetic House, Posh Isolation and Avian he's explored styles ranging from ominous droning, ambience and noise into full-blown techno. His live sets reflect this sensibilty - defiantly spontaneous and improvised.
Greg Zifcak's background in electronics and music makes for a daunting audio-visual display. He has graced crowds with the strobing, throbbing performance only a few times, including once at Sustain-Relase, one of the festival's stand-out performances. Epilepsy warning.
Motiv-A has played both live and DJ-sets all around New York for the most forward-thinking promoters and events. Her music was released on the inaugural double tape comp by No-Tech – dubby and pulsating.
Remy Marc joins us from the city of broken dreams, where he founded Restless Nites and is behind the VSSL parties, promoters who have been behind some of the most impressive lineups in the west. Finally Karl Ewald is a Childhood Industries resident.
