Focus | Raster-Noton feat. Byetone & Grischa Lichtenberger
For our next event at the Arnolfini, Room 237 are proud to present an audio visual event as we invite two members from German electronic music record label; Raster-Noton.
Byetone aka Olaf Bender is the co-founder of Raster-Noton (alongside Frank Bretschneider and Carsten Nicolai). In 2017 he presents his new show ‘Universal Music’. An AV show which captures his impeccable precision, minimalist and Bauhaus approach to audio and video.
Grischa Lichtenberger is an electronic music producer, visual and installation artist living in Berlin. The aggressive tone in his sound design has its counterpart in an emotional depth of the musical structure, tumbling between funky, highly energetic beats and trembling, concerning melodies. In 2016, Grischa released three 12” releases for Raster Noton: ‘SPIELRAUM - ALLGEGENWART - STRAHLUNG’
