Following the sickest turn out at our launch party at the Shelter Club on March the 18th we are buzzing to announce that our next party will take place on the 12th may at The Bow Bridge in Londons East End. Set in the heart of East London, Bow Bridge is a new hub for underground Live and Electronic music and has had some serious house and techno heavyweights play through the clubs beautiful VOID soundsystem. If you were at the launch party then you will know exactly what to expect with the freshest , funkiest most fantastic sounds coming from the DJ's. La vida always aims to bring something fresh and unique. This time around we have curated a line up consisting of established international Djs and our residents and friends. This is set to be an absolutly huge one ! Tickets to be released this Friday 24th March :)
MATT FEAR (Definition:Music)
Its common knowledge that Leeds has always had a notable production line of artists who have gone on to do great things in the scene, particularly within House and Techno. Matt Fear continues in this fine tradition. His breakthrough tune came in the form of a remix, as he took Lee M Kelsall’s “On The Road” and decorated it with sultry strings and effortless pads. An extended intro mix culminates in a euphoric, jacking breakdown that evokes images of the sun. This was released on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ Hot Wave imprint and was one of the songs that really inspired me to learn to Dj and produce ! Matt has played in Russia, Brazil, Norway, Italy, France,Spain, India, Ecuador , England And more. We are buzzing to hear what Matt has in store for us as his new realeases including "No Need For Words" have been just perfect !
Becky Bird (Domus)
Becky is a Tech House DJ with a unique techy sound & style, guaranteed to create a vibe that will fill the dance floor! Having played with Becky at a few events in the past and hearing her fantasic sound it made complete sense to bring her on board for what is our biggest party yet ! Beckys Domus vibes are the vibes that we are looking for and anyone thats been to one of their Parties will know exactly what im talking about ! 2017 is looking to be a massive year for year and were so thrilled to add her to the line up !
Santa Militia
Santa Militia is one of the most interesting talents emerging in Europe in the Techno Scene. Born in Caracas Venezuela in the late 80's, He started playing at techno Events in Caracas, Venezuela and in South America since 2005.
In 2007 Santa Militia started travelling to countries in South America playing in Cities like Bogota, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Sao Paulo and Caracas gaining reputation and taking people to a new journey on the dance floor.
In 2010 Santa Militia moved to Europe; since then He has been playing in countries like Spain, Italy and in the UK. His music has progressed combining sounds and genres. SM has a unique style where he uses different genres and sounds such as House, Detroit Techno, Minimal, Latin sounds, synths, soul vocals and percussion's creating a different sound on the dance floor.
Pj Addinall (La Vida)
PJ Is the founder of La Vida. Playing a recognizable tech house to Techno sound which is groovy , industrial and unique. Pj was raised in Essex , England but has very strong Spanish Family ties and you can hear this in the music that he chooses. Pj was inspired to learn to Dj after getting into to the House/Techno scene shortly after his 18th Birthday in 2012. In 2014 Pj played his first gigs in London supporting Jobe and Doctor Dru before taking a year out to find his feet. In 2016 Pj burst back onto the scene bringing the first La Vida Party to Colchester , Essex which sold out within 2 hours ! Since that moment Pj has an enjoyed an upward spiral of bookings and 2017 is looking like a huge year ! in 2016 Pj supported acts such as Latmun, Waff, Lee Walker, Route 94 and Max Chapman. 2017 is already shaping up nicely too with a regular bookings across londons top nightclubs including Egg LDN And Ministry Of Sound !
