Just in case you don't already know, this year's a pretty special one for JD Twitch and JG Wilkes.
Not sure anyone, including Jonnie & Keith themselves, figured that what started out as a small gathering of like minded freaks on Sunday nights at The Sub Club back in 1997 would still be going strong in 2017!
To celebrate the big 2-0, the boys are putting together a ridiculous one-day festival in Glasgow in August (with Ben UFO, The Black Madonna, Avalon Emerson, and a whole bunch of other good people), plus a tour of all their favourite spots around the world between now and then. Lucky for us, Das Kapital is at the top of that list!
So long story short, Sunday 28th May, Optimo bring the party to Studio Spaces in Wapping for an all night session of musics from friends Brian Shimkovitz aka Awesome Tapes From Africa, Beatrice Dillon, and Output Recordings bossman Trevor Jackson.
Two rooms, proper warehouse and primo party vibe. Smoke and mirrors and whatnot. Sound by the RSH Audio boys, and a cloakroom not run by muppets for all of your nonsense.
