Canadian techno veteran Tomas Jirku [Force Inc, Traum, Klang, Thoughtless, Concrete, Alien8, etc.] presents an exhibition of his experimental photographic work. Part of Vancouver's Capture Photography Festival's official program, this is Tomas's debut solo exhibition.

"Light is energy. We take for granted that our reality exists only in visible light, yet just beyond that spectrum is infrared, a realm where life is particularly active.
There is an inexplicable energy that radiates from even the harshest environments where life is able to cling. Tomas Jirku uses an infrared-sensitive camera to capture this realm and to present it in context with visible light. The striking disparity in energy just outside human perception hints at how many invisible processes there may be if we explore deeper."
The exhibition will be on display at the gallery until April 27th. Gallery hours are 1pm-5pm, Wednesday through Saturday.
