For our first party in the Edinburgh Festival, we return to The Mash House to welcome one of our favourite up and coming DJ / Producers, Peggy Gou.
After bursting onto the scene in early 2016 with a standout EP on Matt Edwards aka Radioslave's Rekids imprint, follow ups on Technicolour and Phonica White soon followed, and certainly got people talking.
After taking up DJ'ing whilst studying Fashion in London, production classes with ex-Sub Club resident and Hi-Life promoter Esa helped Peggy tune into her own unique sound, taking in influences from her Korean heritage, London schooling, and an obsession with early Detroit and Chicago sounds.
A move to Berlin saw Peggy immerse herself in the local scene, and high profile gigs at local spots Chalet, ://about blank & Panorama Bar soon followed.
With some stand out online mixes for FACT, Stamp The Wax, Phonica, and a recently recorded Beats in Space Radio Show while on her inaugural US tour - we can't wait to let her loose on The Mash House system.
Joining Peggy on the night, residents Hi & Saberhägen are joined by the Main Ingredient trio - who will be showcasing their Live/DJ hybrid show.
In the bar on the evening, Odyssey residents Khalid Hussain & Nick Checketts will be bringing the party vibes.
