Present Perfect, international festival of electronic music and contemporary art, will be held for the third time in Saint Petersburg on 28–30 July. This year, the festival program is expanded to three days, and will include a series of parallel activities held in some of the city’s most important venues during the whole weekend: an opening concert, educational sessions, official afterparty and many other events under the Present Perfect umbrella.
The festival’s main event will take place on Saturday, 29 July, traditionally on the premises of the Street Art Museum, one of Europe’s largest exposition centres, which is located among functioning plastic production facilities in the Northern part of Saint Petersburg. More than 50 visual artists hailing from some 12 countries have exposed their works in street art on a total area of 4000 square metres. The walls of industrial buildings will host a massive exposition entitled “Holiday comes to you”, which was created under the curatorship of Andrey Zaytsev, the Museum’s director, and Yashi Yang of Urban Nation Museum for Urban Contemporary Art in Berlin.
The impressive and thoroughly developed structure of the festival will take place in six
different venues, from New Holland public space and the Street Art Museum, to small night clubs, which, together with the traditionally remarkable line-up, will further secure Present Perfect Festival’s status as one of the central cultural events in Russia.
