- English-born, Los Angeles based DJ and producer DJ Harvey will spearhead the program’s opening weekend on Friday June 9 with a five-hour voyage into the farthest depths of his famed collection. From founding illustrious weekend-long club nights in the 80s with TONKA Hi-Fi, to releasing multiple cult disco-edits, Harvey is an electronic music luminary who will challenge even the seasoned dance. Joining Harvey will be Auckland-based, world-renowned DJ Frank Booker. Booker’s highly sought edits sell out on vinyl instantly, and his DJ sets epitomise a traversing journey of disco rarities and hard-to-find re-edits.
