00:30 Performance: «Werq in Progress» by Carmel and Rene Köster
BALANCE continues into 2017 with it’s third collaborative event, proudly presenting the queer / femme collective SIREN, known for their local and international activism, their upfront conversations about the broader spectrum of social inequalities, regular appearances on NTS Radio, and carving out their place in the UK capital. This showcase is well-rounded, with first time appearance from LAUREL HALO at the IfZ, and a unique, experimental live acts. Preceding the dance floor experience, BALANCE has organised a workshop series and performance with choreographer CARMEL KÖSTER, and will participate on a introductory panel with special guests at Conne Island the same evening.
Check out the workshop from May 11th to May 12th with CARMEL KÖSTER about the vogue inspired performance «Werq in Progress»
