We are glad to present you a new collective, based in Barcelona, which is going to throw regular parties and events.
Draft goal is to allow, both the guest and local djs the freedom to play long sets, develop ideas, and fully realise their sound. Our events will cover differents kinds of music, inside the dance spectrum: techno, house, disco, electro and any other fullfilling genre is welcome to our parties.
For our first Draft #01 we invited one of the Swedish heroes; Samo Dj, whom untiring productions and collaborations with the ones like Baba Stiltz, MaxxxBass and Tsuzing, have let him put out records in labels such as Lies and Triology Tapes.
On the other hand, he coruns Born Free Records which is constantly delivering key releases, full of emotion and freshness. The same goes for his wild dj sets, which can be fulled with a wide range of taste.
Stein is one of the founding members of Draft. His passion for music led him start collecting vinyls a decade ago, few years after he started playing. With tastes ranging from techno and house to disco and small oddities, his sets always sound eclectic, full of fresh melodies, banging rhythms and thrilling vocals.
Alimaña is also a Draft cofounder. Even though his attention recalls in records from all kinds of electronic music, Alimaña keeps his focus in the more dark and tough techno. Influenced by industrial sounds, EBM rhythms, sharp electro basslines but also by some of the more soft ambient and lineal productions.
