Sour Grapes Dandy Digital

Väl mött i natten +- DD SOUR GRAPES New on the scene and already recognized as the future in dance music, Sour Grapes unique style of creating beats make their productions stand out, with essentials from traditional House, contemporary Techno and other styles of music, the trio somehow always manage to find the right formula that makes dance floors around the world explode. Their ground-breaking productions have opened up eyes and ears of names like Eric Prydz, Dave Spoon, Chris Lake, Laidback Luke, Joachim Garraud, Tocadisco and Laurent Garnier. Dance music producers since years back, the trio decided to combine ideas in late December of 2008 when their first tracks ‘Kharma’ and ‘Mantra’ were created. With Radio 1 airplay, the EP caught the attention of the world’s biggest DJs and soon found its way to Dave Spoon and his label ‘Televizion’. With great tracks comes great responsibility, especially inside the DJ- booth. Known for their powerful live performances, Sour Grapes tend to make their nights an unforgettable journey through the music they love. “It’s more than just DJ-ing, it’s a whole show” as Sour Grapes themselves describe it. 2009 will definitely be a great year for Sour Grapes, with numerous productions and remixes just around the corner waiting for release. Next up is ‘Stay For Now’ which definitely follows the trio’s trademark sound, with a rolling techno beat, eccentric surprises and a powerful pop-inspired break that turns into a raw dance floor killer. This massively supported monster will definitely be a great addition to Chris Lake’s ‘Rising Music’ later this year. The only thing that can stop Sour Grapes from conquering the world is a major catastrophe caused by Mother Nature herself. Other than that, they are unstoppable.
