Kate Simko & the London Electronic Orchestra is a groundbreaking out-of-the box band from London. Led by composer/DJ Kate Simko, LEO intricately fuses Kate's background as a classical pianist with her Chicago roots in electronic music. Comprised of two violins, two cellos, upright bass, harp, and Kate on keys, London Electronic Orchestra is an inimitable blend of lush strings weaving in-and-out of synths and loose grooved beats. The group has created a buzz with appearances at iTunes Festival, Boiler Room, Latitude Festival, HEART Ibiza, Bestival, and Midem, and recently released their debut self-titled album on the The Vinyl Factory.
