FLUX & Solid Circles Touring are proud to announce that Cristi Cons & S. A. M. will be joining us for the first time ever in Brisbane for an intimate celebration of the music we hold so dear to our hearts in a Secret BYO Warehouse Location.
Introducing Cristi Cons:
Cristi's musical mind, wired under the rigorous laws of classical music during his studies at the National Music Academy, was ready to break some boundaries and electronic music offered the perfect tools. 2007 was the year he started to make his own music. Perfectly timed, he met Vlad Caia and their friendship later turned into into a common studio project known as SIT, and their own imprint, Amphia. By now, Romania’s house & techno scene was building up and Cristi Cons’ productions pinpointed the moment this sound left behind it’s minimal origins to evolve into something authentic and more melodic.
His electronic ideas materialized into a handful of releases on labels such as [a:rpia:r], Make Sense, Dialegestai, Eklo and the eclectic Amphia umbrella, culminating with the SIT “Sideways" album in 2016. Berlin based Meander has chosen his solo works on a number of occasions with “Basorelief “ EP , ”Infinity” EP as a collaboration with Dewalta,and the "Perceptual” double EP.
Amorf is the newest collaborative effort Cristi Cons is involved into, alongside Vlad Caia and neo-classical pianist Mischa Blanos. Coming as a studio work as well as a live performance, Amorf provides the perfect framework for digging new pathways, blending the musical worlds where he feels at home. Their debut album is set to be released on Cezar Lezars’s imprint, Understand.
In addition to the Romanian powerhouse we also introduce S. A. M.
S. A. M. or Samuel Andre Madsen amongst other monikers, is a selector who brings both the efforts of digging as well as his own productions to the party. Head honcho at Delaphine sees him curating through his label as well as playing live with Mandar he also has releases on Fathers & Sons Productions (run by Julian Perez) and the groove laden Oscillat Music imprint frequently featuring his Mandar partners amongst many other releases.
Samuel has a masters in theology specialising in Eschatology, a very interesting field of study toward the end of the world as we know it. His productions are infamous for their intricacy and the all important groove to create ethereal moments on dance floors around the world. An artist truly in a state of flux.

Venda: Australian based DJ, Producer & Engineer, Venda has spent years refining his sound, evolving his unique style to the stripped down minimal approach he finds himself most comfortable with today.
In recent years releasing EP’s on Inwave Imprint & Black Key Records, 2017 looks to be a breakthrough year with a 5 track offering on Bodyparts Records and a record due out later this year on Subsonic Music alongside Archie Hamilton
Ptolme: A solo focused outlet from an established Datura and Menial Arts contributor. Purposed towards melodic/textural/structural sounds, conceptually explored with a minimal, groove-based sensibility.
Joining them is some local FLUX favourites: Kyle Burchill, Papa K, Rascal & Thilini.
Join us from 4pm with a watercolour exhibition by Brisbane artist Rosie Carter and an afternoon and night of music, art, dancing and BYO booze
