Summer is a rare spectacle in our part of the earth, and it is probably ever more so heading north. This is why, says google, many northern cultures actually celebrate summer in a ritual called Midsummer. Most notorious doing so are the Swedes, and so, at first we thought about putting together an all-Swedish lineup and create a big Swedish Midsummer Rave. However, it was then made clear to us that most of them wouldn't miss the opportunity to celebrate this day in their homeland, or as they say: in Sweden, summer is the nicest day of the year!
And so we put together an incredible international lineup and added a day Midsummer festival that bring Sweden here, only without the Swedes. They do say, however, that there are enough of them living right here in Berlin.

Sommer ist ein eher seltenes Spektakel in unserem Teil der Erde und womöglich noch seltener, je nördlicher man geht. Deshalb, sagt Google, feiern einige nordische Kulturen dieses Spektakel mit einem Ritual namens „Midsommer“. Die Berühmtesten sind wohl die Schweden. Da dachten wir uns, wir stellen mal ein komplett schwedisches Line-Up zusammen und feiern einen großen schwedischen Midsommer-Rave. Was wir nicht bedacht haben: Die meisten von ihnen wollen dieses Fest natürlich in ihrer Heimat feiern, oder wie sie sagen: Sommer ist in Schweden der schönste Tag des Jahres!
Also haben wir stattdessen ein unglaubliches internationales Line-Up zusammengestellt und einen Tag schwedischen Midsommer drangehängt, nur halt ohne die Schweden. Sie sagten uns aber, dass genug von ihnen hier in Berlin leben.
