- After we close out our stage on Saturday at Lovebox this year, we’re bringing the party back to Farringdon for Lovebox After Dark. On the Saturday night of this year’s festival, we invite one of our closest family members to join us after his Victoria Park set as Ricardo Villalobos returns to play Room One. A quarterly resident with a 15-year history in Farringdon, Villalobos and his minimalist percussive arrangements have helped create some of the most memorable sessions in our basement space. He’s joined by a cast of adept selectors known for their digging prowess, as Nicolas Lutz lands to present his mindboggling archive of treasures alongside resident Craig Richards. They’re joined by one of minimal house music’s most captivating live acts: Ion Ludwig. Expect a late finish as per tradition. Room Two is hosted by a true pioneer of the UK’s warped techno sound as Boddika brings Nonplus back to Farringdon. Tonight he’s invited Henning Baer to join him on the bill, founder of the hugely respected Grounded Theory party in Berlin he’s built a reputation for drawing from a wide range of beats in his set, expertly blending the experimental with pacey four four cuts.
