July 27th sees former Britain’s Got Talent winner Richard Hadfield performing live at The Cavern Club. The gig will take place in the Cavern Live Lounge and is a chance to see a star very much on the rise.
After his sell out debut solo performance, at the renowned Dean Street Jazz Club in Soho, Richard is taking his show on the road. The No.1 selling artist, with a voice like velvet and the charm to match, brings an exciting new sound to the UK jazz scene.
Richard’s meteoric rise within the music world began when his group, 2014 Britain’s Got Talent winners Collabro, were promptly signed up by Simon Cowell’s SYCO, and whose first album, Star, rocketed to Number One.
Collabro embarked on a sell-out world tour and released a second album, which also achieved record sales. Having now left Collabro to build a successful solo career, Richard has made headlines all over the world, not just for being voted the BGT FAVOURITE EVER WINNER twice, performing with the London Philharmonic and Symphony Orchestras and singing lead vocals at the Royal Variety Show, but also being voted Eye Candy of the Week in December last year!
Richard introduces a whole new flavour to the songs everybody knows. Along with timeless classics about life and love, Richard’s show will include his unique take on standards by Ella Fitzgerald and Nat King Cole, renditions of famous chart toppers throughout the years, as well as some jazzed up versions of West End and Broadway hits, alongside hits from musicals such as Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof and The Sound of Music.
