Gimme A Reason has been facilitating club nights in various venues and warehouses in New Orleans, Louisiana for the past four years and continues to expose New Orleans to quality, local, national, and international House and Techno DJs on a regular basis.
For this installment of Gimme A Reason we have special guest DJ Savile of Argot Records and resident selector at Smart Bar Chicago. 2016 saw Savile touring almost non-stop across the US, both solo and alongside Steve Mizek, with whom he manages the labels Argot & Tasteful Nudes. In the summer of 2016, Savile released well recieved solo EPs on Stripped & Chewed and Argot records, as well as embarking on his first European tour, playing Panorama Bar at Berghain. 2017 marked a return to Europe alongside Mizek, with the pair playing Panorama for their Easter Klubnacht alongside Copenhagen and Munich. Savile will release another solo 12” this Fall, amongst a few other side projects and an an ongoing stream of mixes.
