- FUNK ME return to their spiritual home at LOST FORMAT SOCIETY for the penultimate rooftop party at this unique space in the heart of Croydon Town Centre. This month we are very proud to bring you an absolutely legendary DJ & Producer, none other than GRANT NELSON! With a career spanning over 30 years, Grant has been highly recognised as a producer earning the title ' The Godfather of UK Garage' early on having been responsible for releases such as 'Right Before my Eyes' & 'Step 2 Me'. He went on to release catalogue of monster hits including the highly acclaimed 'Bodyswerve' and 'Blackwater'. With over 500 productions and releases, Grant has undoubtedly been one of the biggest influences on the UK Garage and House scene. As a DJ he has headlined festivals, parties and events across the globe and still remains in high demand to this day. His enthusiasm, passion and all time love for music is clear to see and we cannot see him tear it up on the rooftop! He will be joined by our trusted residents who will be playing the very best in vocal funky and uplifting house music at this unique rooftop space in Croydon town centre.
