卓越したリエディットセンスを遺憾なく発揮した『Parts Unknown』でDJ HarveyやTheo Parrishから絶賛され、一躍ニューディスコ・シーンの最前線に躍り出た新世代のカナディアン・ニューディスコ・マスターEddie Cの来日がVENTで実現。
endless flightなどからリリースされた多くのプロデュース作品にも通じる、繊細なメロディと情熱的なグルーブの満ち引きによるエクレクティックなDJセットは、まさにカナダの大自然そのもの。そのプレイスタイルは、2014年に「Resident Advisor」が東京で主催した”Resident Advisor at ageHa”や、2015年のMontreux Jazz Festival Japan 2015 “Rainbow Disco Club” といった話題のインドア・フェスティバルへの出演が物語るように、ここ日本でも非常に高い評価を得ている。
さらに、一十三十一の最新アルバム『Ecstasy』全曲の作曲、NY ACG AWARD/東京ADC賞といった広告賞を受賞している「INDUSTRIAL JP」への楽曲提供など、ダンスミュージック・シーンを飛び越え、各方面で活躍するDorianのソロライブ出演も決定。
「山の日」に当たるこの日は、VENTが鳴らすサウンドパノラマを通じて、Eddie C / Dorianが奏でる夏のメロディーを堪能しよう。

Winning the acclaim and love of DJ Harvey and Theo Parrish with his release Parts Unknown, which showcased his outstanding re-editing skills, Canadian Eddie C has been launched headlong into the New Disco scene to become the master of the next generation of New Disco, and now he will grace the decks at VENT!
Many of his produced works from Endless Flight and 7 Inches of Love, released from his own label Red Motorbike or otherwise, demonstrate his usage of delicate melodies and passion-filled grooves that rise and fall, and is proof positive that this DJ from the Great White North will perform an absolutely eclectic set. He's played at 2014's Resident Advisor at ageHa party, as well as the Montreux Jazz Festival Japan 2015 "Rainbow Disco Club" indoor festival, where he created a beautiful sonic story exceeding the high expectations of the Japanese audience and winning their accolades.
