- Love Handle, Lab.our and Void are honoured to bring back the legend that is Kai Alcé (N.D.ATL). Currently based in Atlanta, Kai has been bridging the sounds from the 3 cities he called home (New York, Detroit & Atlanta) and bringing them to the world stage via his label N.D.ATL (an acronym of said cities). Raised with Soca and Jazz at home as well as Hip Hop and Disco from New York City, Kai moved to Detroit in 1980 and worked at the infamous Music Institute soaking up the unique techno and house sounds of the city. Finally landing in Atlanta for formal studies in psychology, Kai was instrumental in helping to foster the Atlanta house scene and bring international attention to it. Connecting all things deep and soulful, as a DJ Kai is able to get down and dirty as evident by the spectrum of releases and productions he's had his hands on.
