CLUB DESIGNS
Club Designs aka CDMUSIC, is a label founded by Garneau and Sharkki and born
out of need to support and promote modern electro inspired music while still
paying respect to the Detroit & Chicago originators.
With a strong focus on quality over quantity, Club Designs releases music that is
innovative, timeless and eclectic. The label is dedicated to cultivating and
showcasing up-and-coming artists and has a strong reputation for releasing some
of the most cutting-edge and genre-defying music in the electronic music scene.
Electro, Ghettotech and Chicago House have been around for over 30 years, but
we have now reached a point where a new generations of producers are applying
their interpretation to said genres. We are actively seeking out emerging artists
with unique sounds and styles, while also showcasing established acts who
continue to push the boundaries of the genre. Our goal is to showcase these new
and talented producers on an international platform. Club Designs will prioritize
digital distribution and promotion through social media and streaming services.
From classic electro beats to futuristic synth sounds, CDMUSIC is a haven for
music lovers who appreciate the evolution of electronic music. With a growing
catalogue of releases, the label has quickly become a go-to destination for fans of
electro, ghettotech, and other forms of modern club electronic music.
We are aware that independent music is at a place right now where we should
only be operating a label if there’s a real necessity and purpose – if a scene,
sound or artists cannot grow without the label’s guidance or platform. And for this
style and group of people involved, we feel very strongly that a new, well-managed
outlet is needed.
