Silent Servant, Reagenz, Derek Plaslaiko and more will be on hand to celebrate the party's tenth anniversary in New York.
New York crew The Bunker has a busy first week of 2013 planned: after an intimate NYE event, they'll celebrate their tenth anniversary, then kick off a new residency in Chicago.
The Bunker has brought countless artists to town from across the electronic music spectrum, and featured some of NYC's best local talent, making it a top destination for clued-in stateside clubbers. To celebrate a decade of operation, The Bunker will set-up shop at their usual haunt, Public Assembly, on Friday, January 4th. LA artists Silent Servant and Vatican Shadow (playing live) are atop the back room bill, while Reagenz, AKA Move D and Spacetime Continuum, head up the front room with a live set. All four of the party's residents—The Bunker and Beyond Booking founder Bryan Kasenic, the Berlin-based Derek Plaslaiko, Eric Cloutier and Mike Servito—will DJ as well.
Having already been involved in plenty of events outside New York, next up for The Bunker is a new residency at Smart Bar in Chicago, starting on Saturday the 5th. Plaslaiko and Servito are confirmed for that one, with Windy City local Sassmouth handling opening duties. Though further details are still TBA, Chicago heads can expect more Smart Bar parties with The Bunker DJs and affiliates later on in 2013.
And before all that, Kasenic and company have sorted out a short but typically diverse lineup for The Bunker's NYE session at the 70 North 6th Street Loft, with two repeat guests—Dial artist John Roberts (playing live) and abstract techno selector Mike Parker.
