Idjut Boys, Bass Clef and Johnno Burgess will all play the first Land Of Kings festival next weekend.
London's festival season will be given a kick-start next weekend from the eastern upstarts Land of Kings.
Taking place across Thursday 16th and Friday 17th April, the event aims to bring together a wealth of creative talent residing in, or connected to, the Stoke Newington/Dalston neighborhood. Artists, DJs, promoters and labels will be housed at multiple yet to be announced locations, with the use of pubs, clubs, cafes, bars and theatres providing a colourful and varied backdrop.
Music-wise, attendees have been promised a genuine genre stew of afro, disco, gypsy punk, electro, jazz and techno. Highlights for Thursday's session include performances from Bass Clef, Ben Westbeech, Tayo, Faze Action and RA podcastee Johnno Burgess, while Friday sees Idjut Boys, Soft Rocks, Serge Santiago and Fuck Buttons' Benjamin John Power all roll up their sleeves for what promises to be a good old-fashioned cockney knees up.
