- The Japanese label's new comp will feature exclusive tracks from Move D, Isolée and DJ Koze.
Mule Musiq is set to celebrate their fifth birthday with the second compilation in the My Favorite Things series, an album that will contain exclusive tracks from Isolée, Move D and DJ Koze.
The Japanese label, which has served as an outpost for some of electronic music's most idiosyncratic voices, has already compiled an ambient compilation and a collection of new Japanese artists in 2009 and will continue their ways in June with My Favorite Things Vol. 2. This particular album, however, is nothing more than its title implies—some of the imprint founder's Toshiya Kawasaki best finds of the past year. Aside from the mouth-watering exclusives, expect to also hear previously vinyl-only tunes from the likes of Lawrence, Minilogue and Âme as well.
