- The veteran Swedish producer will release his debut album next month.
Swedish techno producer Samuel L. Session is set to release his debut album Man With The Case in October.
What took him so long? DJ/producer Samuel L. Session has been in and around the dance scene since the late '80s. That said, his first full release didn't surface until 1997 so perhaps we'll let him off. Very much a singles guy, Session has put out a steady stream of releases since those nascent days, popping up with tracks and remixes on his own Solid Beat, Cycle and Klap Klap imprints, in addition to cuts for Planet E, Soma and Intec.
Man With The Case is the unashamedly "classic Detroit" influenced debut from the veteran producer. Ten previously unreleased efforts are included on a 12 track LP that is said to evoke the sound of "pure old-school techno." A remix package is also on the cards, and counts Len Faki, Dennis Ferrer, Reboot and Francois K among its cast list.
