fabric have announced details of their eleventh birthday celebrations, taking place across the weekend of October 15th.
After his numerous sets at last year's epic birthday celebrations—in addition to his world beating performances in general at the club—Ricardo Villalobos will once again headline the Saturday night festivities, which will in fact run through until the early hours of Monday morning. The Chilean selector will of course be backed by a hefty cast of DJs, which in addition to fabric's long standing residents Craig Richards and Terry Francis includes Damian Lazarus, Dixon, Floating Points, Lee Burridge, Levon Vincent, Move D, Ryan Crosson, Tobi Neumann and Trus'me. You'll also get a couple of live performances for your money as well: Innervisions duo Âme and madcap French trio dOP.
Friday night, meanwhile, will be a little more far-reaching in its genre scope, with dubstep, hip-hop, UK funky, breaks and drum and bass all on the agenda. Under the Dub Police banner, room one will feature sets from Caspa, Emalkay, Breakage, The Others, N-Type VS. Hatcha, Trolley Snatcher, Sound Proof, while MCs Rod Azlan, Crazy D, Dread MC should keep the assembled masses suitably hyped. Room two sets up on an equally multifarious tip with Andy C, Scratch Perverts, Marcus Nasty, Kasra, Ali B, Greenmoney all set to spin. And room three will be the place for UK bass music types: Brackles, Shortstuff, Scratcha DVA, Doc Daneeka and Martin Kemp will all offer their take on the fast-paced scene.
