- Tri Angle Records will release the San Franciscan duo's debut album.
The first full-length effort from Water Borders, entitled Harbored Mantras, is due out in October.
After two EP releases last year on Hungry Power and the Houston-based "witch house" imprint Disaro, Amitai Heller and Loric Sih, AKA Water Borders, are set to release their debut long-player through experimental New York label Tri Angle.
According to Tri Angle, Harbored Mantras weaves influences from factions of underground UK dance music championed by the likes of London's Rinse FM with a vast array of other elements, including proto-techno, African drum patterns and Gamelan rhythms. Glasser has also been cited as a reference, the one-woman orchestra of Cameron Mesirow, who is also behind the album's artwork.
