Mac Arena Mar to throw six off-Sonar parties

- Visionquest, Cocoon, Apollonia, Flying Circus, My Favorite Robot, Saved, Rejected and Octopus Recordings will all set up shop at the beach club in Barcelona next month.
- Mac Arena Mar Beach Club will host six back-to-back parties in Barcelona during Sonar this year. Sitting just meters away from the shores of the Balearic sea, Mac Arena Mar Beach Club has always been an off-Sonar favorite, thanks in no small part to its zero euro entry fee. This year they've put together one of their biggest party series yet with nearly a week of parties, all of which run from the early afternoon until 3:00 AM. The action starts on Tuesday, June 12th with My Favorite Robot. Saved & Rejected take over on Wednesday with Joris Voorn, Nic Fanciulli, Steve Rachmad and Subb-an among others. On Thursday its Cocoon Heroes with Tobi Neumann topping a cast of Cocoon regulars (Chris Tietjen, Markus Fix, Daniel Stefanik). Friday will see Visionquest (Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves and Lee Curtiss) go head-to-head with Paris's Apollonia crew (Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky, plus Djebali). Octopus Recordings, the Barcelona-based label run by Sian, drops in on Saturday, and on Sunday it's the off-Sonar edition of Flying Circus, Audiofly's traveling party, this time featuring Cassy, Benoit & Sergio, Bill Patrick and Heidi among others.
