- The New Jersey label's second compilation will come out in October.
Italians Do It Better will release the sequel to their first After Dark compilation this October.
That original compilation—and the label's general output around that time, consisting mainly of Chromatics and Glass Candy—helped spawn a resurgence of interest in the Italo disco sound, with producer and instrumentalist Johnny Jewel behind most of the compilation's acts. After Dark 2 looks to be no different, with many Jewel-helmed projects making up the tracklist. In addition to Chromatics and Glass Candy, the compilation will also feature new tracks from Mirage, Desire, Jewel's imaginary-film-soundtracking Symmetry project, and singer Farah. All of the tracks on the compilation are previously unreleased save the opener "Warm In The Winter," and it will be released on digital and triple "glitter gold" vinyl.
