This year's experimental dance music festival features Lucy, Pole, Ulrich Schnauss, Alex Smoke, Tim Exile and more.
This year's Krake Festival will take place at venues around Berlin from August 6th through the 12th.
Krake is presented by Killekill, the Berlin promoter and former party series at Berghain Kantine. Now in its third edition, the annual festival highlights the "experimental sideways of electronic dance music." This year's program begins with a night of ambient and drone at Passionskirche (an old church in Kreuzberg) with live sets from Murcof and former Porter Ricks member Thomas Köner. At Berghain Kantine on Wednesday, Lucy headlines a Stroboscopic Artefects showcase with Perc and Dadub. The majority of the festival takes place on Friday and Saturday at Krake's usual home: Suicide Circus. The bill for those two days includes Pole, Ulrich Schnauss, Alex Smoke, Tim Exile, Kid 606 and the main man behind Killekill, Nico Deuster, AKA DJ Flush.
Tickets to all of this year's Krake events are available here on RA.
