- The two artists will play 13 shows together this September and October.
Laurel Halo and Ital will tour North America together this fall.
Both American artists released their debut albums earlier this year: Ital's Hive Mind on Planet Mu and Laurel Halo's Quarantine on Hyperdub, both of which were met with positive reviews here RA. Each have built live sets based on these records, which they'll be showcasing on tour throughout September and October. Joining them will be 100% Silk artist Magic Touchand LA synth artist M. Geddes Gengras.
The tour will begin in New York City on September 21st, and course through Baltimore, DC, Boston, Chicago, and Minneapolis before ending at the VIA Festival in Pittsburgh on October 6th. The troupe will also play two dates in Ohio (at schools in Oberlin and Gambier), two Michigan shows (Detroit and Grand Rapids), and another university show at Purchase, NY, plus one Canadian stop at Toronto's Parts & Labour on the 28th. The tour will coincide with the release of a new Laurel Halo EP on Hyperdub, and will just precede the release of the second Ital album Dream On on Planet Mu in November.
