- The German producer will release his sixth album in April on his own label, Electric Ballroom.
Thomas Schumacher will release a new album in April called Stand Up.
The German producer has been at it since the late '90s, making tech house for labels like Get Physical Music and his own Spiel-Zeug Schallplatten. Stand Up is sixth album overall (including his full-lengths as Elektrochemie LK), and his first since 2006. It's due out on his fledgling label Electric Ballroom, which he launched last year. Guest appearances come from Caitlin Devlin, who played alongside Schumacher and Stephan Bodzin in the band Electrochemie, and Chelonis R. Jones, a vocalist who frequently collaborated with him during his Get Physical days. The first single will be for the track "Every Little Piece," and will come with remixes from Simian Mobile Disco, Hot Since '82 and Joris Delacroix.
