Beat Bar lines up February and March events

- The new Leeds venue will feature Pangaea among others in its late winter schedule.
- Beat Bar has announced events for the rest of February and March. A new venue that opened up in Leeds late last year, Beat Bar is a Funktion-One equipped club in the city centre, taking up the former location of the Subculture Bar. So far the space has hosted gigs with Perc, Mala and Gilles Peterson, and its future schedule looks to keep up the varied programming. First up, on February 23rd, Beat Bar will feature Hessle Audio co-founder Pangaea, plus the Leeds debut of NTS Radio's Moxie. On March 9th, Stray and Ruckspin will play a night centred around bass music, and the next evening will bring hip-hop pioneer DJ Premier to the decks. March 22nd will see funk-loving London grime producer Swindle headline, with a:rpia:r's Priku stopping in to play the next evening. Tickets for the party with Priku on March 23rd are available on RA.
