- The EP, due out on Perlon this month, finds the pair working with vocalists Tea Time and Azeem.
Ricardo Villalobos and Max Loderbauer have a new EP in the works on Perlon called Turbo Semantic.
The Berlin artists famously joined forces in 2011, when they reworked material from the ECM catalog. For this release, which is due out a little later this month, they've brought a pair of vocalists into the fold: Chile's Tea Time and New York spoken word artist Azeem. Information on the release is scarce at the moment, but the press release hints that the record might have a hip-hop flavor; riffing on the title of Villalobos' 2012 album, the text suggests the EP will find the producers getting "all independent and rappy."
