- The first instalment in a run of conceptual 12-inches for Clone will see release in September.
Space Dimension Controller will return to the Clone Royal Oak stable with an EP called Correlation.
The record will be the first in a series of concept 12-inches for Clone. Each record features prints designed by SDC himself, which, according to the label, correspond with the mood and colour of the music. With this first release, one of the five prints will be randomly inserted into each vinyl copy.
Correlation seems to pick up where the producer's debut album Welcome to Mikrosector-50 left off, with catchy synth hooks and funk-infused beats (the closing track, "Petrichor," takes on a more ambient hue). It'll be SDC's first appearance for Clone's Royal Oak offshoot since 2010, when he released the Journey To The Core Of The Unknown Sphere EP.
For a bit of extra reading, check out this recent interview with the producer by RA's Ryan Keeling. You can also stream snippets of the new EP via Clone's SoundCloud page.
