Ikonika sets out on North American tour

- The Hyperdub artist will spend March traveling through the US and Canada, including an appearance at SXSW.
- Ikonika will hop across the pond for a tour in March. The Hyperdub-signed, London-based artist released her second album Aerotropolis last year, and since then she's mainly focused on touring, including Hyperdub's tenth anniversary shows in Japan at the beginning of the year. This will be her first stateside trip of 2014, and it'll coincide with SXSW, where she'll play Surefire Sound's showcase alongside JETS, Kastle and others. Her journey will begin on March 6th in Boston, and from there she'll run through Seattle, Calgary (the only Canadian date), Austin for SXSW, Miami, Pittsburgh and Brooklyn, before taking a few days' break. Then the tour will wrap with a spate of dates on the west coast: San Francisco, Portland and LA.
