Four shows across the country are coming up for the UK artist.
The Haxan Cloak is about to embark on his first tour of the US.
The UK experimental producer, real name Bobby Krlic, has seen his profile rise since the release of his debut album in 2011. Last year, he connected with Tri Angle for his second full-length, Excavation, which earned a spot among our top albums of the year. His stateside visit starts this Friday with an early show at Washington DC's U Street Music Hall. On Saturday he'll touch down in New York for a Red Bull Music Academy Festival event, which will also mark the North American debut of Robert Henke's Lumière show. Next week, he'll play Lincoln Hall in Chicago on Wednesday the 14th, before finishing up in Los Angeles at The Church on York, where power electronics purveyor Pharmakon is also confirmed.
Of course, stateside fans shouldn't expect anything easier than the heavy and ominous sound The Haxan Cloak has become known for, as this (slightly edited) announcement on Twitter makes clear: "People of the USA—I'm going to pummel the living fuck out of your PA systems."
