The Montreal club is celebrating its latest milestone n this month with parties featuring Damian Lazarus, Octave One and Guy Gerber.
Montreal late-night club Stereo is in the midst of its 15th anniversary celebration.
Stereo opened its doors in 1998, and it's become a key part of Montreal's techno and house scene—the past few months have seen appearances from the likes of Virginia, Bob Moses, Apollonia and Matthew Dekay. The club actually kicked off the month of anniversary parties this past weekend with a Halloween party headlined by Danny Tenaglia, and plenty more big-name talent has been recruited for four more weekends of events marking the occasion. Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus and label mate Francesca Lombardo are the guests on Friday, November 7th, and Toronto veteran Carlo Lio and Uner will be at the helm on Saturday.
Friday, November 14th will see sets from Detroit's Octave One, New York underground favorite Anthony Parasole and local Tsuba affiliate Tazz, while the following evening has Hernan Cattaneo slotted in for an all-night set. Local DJs Mike Laz and Ostrich (a resident as well as the talent buyer at the club) will take over on Friday the 22nd, and a collection of international artists—Guy Gerber, Behrouz, Joseph Capriati, Pan-Pot, David Morales and Hector Romero—will be on hand at the final anniversary events near the end of the month.
Tickets to all of Stereo's events are available here on RA.
