Basic Soul Unit returns to Australia in May

- The Toronto artist has four gigs lined up for next month.
- Basic Soul Unit will play four shows in Australia this May. Three years on from his last tour of the country, Toronto producer Stuart Li's catalogue has nearly doubled in size to include 12-inches on labels like Nonplus, Midnight Shift and his own Lab.our outlet as well as his debut LP, Motional Response, which dropped at the end of 2012. His return visit will begin with a show at Sugar in Adelaide on May 23rd, then on the 29th he'll play at Melbourne touring outfit Heads With Tales' first party at Boney with Untzz Twelve Inch boss Babicka. On the afternoon of May 30th Li flies up to Brisbane for a Kush Club and Wildlife Recordings day party at Capulet which also features Auntie Flo plus locals Percy Miracles and Rikki Newton. Later that night he'll be at Sydney's Burdekin Hotel for Something Else with HAHA's Dean Dixon & Dave Fernandes, Trinity and James Petrou playing across three rooms.
