- Luke Calzonetti's second full-length for the Parisian label will see release in November.
The next album from Luke Calzonetti's Run Dust moniker, called Supermarché, is due out in November via In Paradisum.
Calzonetti, an American-born artist living in Germany best known as a former member of the noise rock band Child Abuse, has been producing his own brand of noisy, experimental electronics as Run Dust for a few years now. In 2014 he put out a pair of albums on Opal Tapes and Nute Records, and back in March he connected with the Paris-based In Paradisum for the Serf Rash LP.
In Paradisum describes Supermarché as "the most macabre and lively record we've heard lately," and one that was "pumped out... in [Calzonetti's] typically hyperactive fashion." The 12-track album includes two guest appearances: vocals come from Eelio Estevez on "Todd Rundgren's LSD" and violin from Wendy Gondeln (AKA Albert Oehlen) on "Almonster Voice." It'll see release as a limited-edition CD boxset featuring a book of paintings and a poster from Calzonetti himself, available only in an edition of 100, along with a digital version that also has a digital booklet of the paintings.
