- Both records will land on the Lisbon label in December.
Príncipe will drop its final two releases of 2015 on December 11th.
The Lisbon-based label is one of the premiere outlets for the city's bustling, multi-genre sound, which bears the influence of kuduro, tarraxinha, batida and other regional strains of dance music. Following recent releases from the likes of DJ Firmeza, Niagara and DJ Nigga Fox, Príncipe is welcoming the Blacksea Não Maya crew back into the fold, as well as offering the debut from Normal Nada.
Blacksea Não Maya first appeared on the B.N.M. / P.D.D.G. 12-inch, which showcased music from the north and south sides of Lisbon's Tagus river. BNM, comprising DJ Kolt, DJ Noronha and DJ Perigoso (and formerly DJ Joker), hail from the south and show off their more African-influenced sound on Calor No Frioo (artwork pictured to the right). Normal Nada (formerly known as Qraqmaster CiclOFF and Erre Mente), meanwhile, is a newcomer to the label, which calls him "an elusive underground metakuduro legend... a special kind of cosmogonical pirate exploring chemical balanced regimes of wake-sleep and the seductive dimensions between both." Check out one of his tracks below.
