- Boomkat Editions will release a roundup of the Lisbon artist's kuduro tracks.
A retrospective of DJ Marfox's early productions, titled Revolução 2005-2008, is coming out on Boomkat Editions.
The compilation's ten tracks provide a glimpse into the beginnings of an artist who's become a central figure in Lisbon's thriving dance music community. Due out July 8th, Revolução 2005-2008 is described by UK retailer Boomkat as "nine cuts of contagious Afro-Portuguese dance music which maps strong parallels to the UK's own transition and flux between grime and UKF." It'll be the first time these tunes have made it onto vinyl, with the double 12-inch accompanied by liner notes written in English and Portuguese.
