- The LP, originally released in 2000, comes with two unreleased tracks
Tresor is putting out a new version of Terrence Dixon's From The Far Future on October 14th.
The album was the Detroit techno producer's first long-player under his own name, released back in 2000. It was also his debut on the German label. (12 years later, Tresor put out a follow-up called From The Far Future Pt. 2.)
The new version of From The Far Future is the first pressing of the LP since its initial release. It comes with a 7-inch featuring two previously unreleased tracks, "What Up" and "Shuffle All Circuits."
The reissue comes at a time of renewed interest in Dixon, thanks to a handful of releases under his Population One moniker, including appearances on Nina Kraviz's Trip label. In 2014 he announced his retirement, though records have continued to come out since.
