- The Basque producer's OST for the film—released on the 80th anniversary of the tragedy—is out in April.
Aitor Etxebarria, AKA El_Txef_A, has produced the soundtrack for a new documentary about the bombing of Guernica in 1937.
The Basque producer's composition for Markak, whose release coincides with the 80th anniversary of the famous bombardment of Spanish civilians by German and Italian planes, is his first for cinema and also his first solo record under his own name. The film, which premiered at San Sebastian Film Festival in 2016, explores the impact of the bombing on Guernica's younger population. Markak: Soundtrack For The Motion Picture will come out on Etxebarria's Forbidden Colours label in April.
