- The German imprint launches in September.
A new label called Atmophile Electronics will put out its first release on September 15th.
The German label will kick off with Fundamentum, an eight-track compilation that features new tracks from Matrixxman, Polar Inertia, Mike Parker and Japanese producer Takaaki Itoh. Atmophile cofounder Ankurbln contributes a tune along with an ambient intro made with the other label founder, Naty Seres, while Berlin's Sofus Forsberg offers up an IDM-influenced number. The compilation is rounded off by another Berlin producer, Alderson Disk, who is said to be an established bass music artist operating under a new name.
According to a writeup for Atmophile's launch party back in May, Fundamentum represents the techno "division" of the label, while Luminus will centre on house and Balanced on more experimental and open-ended sounds.
