- The 12-inch, titled Contraposition, is the outlet's first release in 14 years.
Arcola, the long-dormant Warp Records sub-label, has been revived.
Contraposition, by Rian Treanor, will be Arcola's first release in 14 years. Arcola was established in 2003 as a dance floor-focused subsidiary of its parent label. Before operations ceased the following year, it had released six official EPs—filled mostly with rhythmically offbeat techno—by producers like Denis Rusnak and Dub Kult. Contraposition will be Treanor's third release, following two EPs, 2015's A Rational Triangle and 2016's Pattern Damage, on The Death Of Rave.
