Whities will release the debut solo album by poet and experimental musician Rupert Clervaux.
Out May 24th, After Masterpieces sets six recitals of Clervaux's poetry to experimental music. Some of the themes explored include aesthetics, ancient mythologies, the origins of language and music, epistemology and ecology. Anna Holmer, a vocal and performance artist working in Los Angeles, features on two of the tracks. After Masterpieces is the London label's first full-length release.
Clervaux is a musician, writer and audio engineer based between London and Mallorca. In 2016, he released an album alongside Beatrice Dillon called Two Changes and has also collaborated with Alexis Taylor, Ben Vince and The Radiophonic Workshop.
