In the second of our Loveparade San Francisco features, RA gets all loved up with the "it" boys of trance, Above & Beyond and Dallas deep house sensation JT Donaldson.
At the moment it seems like every pair of eyes and ears are on Above & Beyond, the 3-member trance act who have remixed Madonna and Britney Spears, oversee one of the genres most talked about labels and still manage to churn out a weekly radio show in between touring to support their "Anjunabeats: V.3" compilation. Reflecting on what makes the Loveparade such a special event, Tony McGuiness from Above & Beyond says, "Any time there is a big gathering of interested people, be it the World Cup or Woodstock, slightly less interested people are drawn in at the edges by the energy and enthusiasm of those involved and the thing grows."

Meanwhile Dallas' JT Donaldson, who has been globetrotting around the world spreading the gospel of Deep House and is currently riding high on the release of his compilation "San Francisco Sessions v.5" made with partner-in-crime Lance DeSardi, says, "The difference to me lies in the fact that the parade rolls through the middle of the city and you get the general public involved without buying a ticket, driving somewhere, parking and all that. Seeing a 75 year old Chinese guy getting into it as he’s buying a newspaper is fucking priceless".
