- Mur is out tomorrow.
Ambient minimalist Taylor Deupree has a new record out tomorrow.
The five-track album Mur is Deupree's first work on the Ghent-based ambient imprint, DAUW. It was written in 2020, as Deupree dealt with the loss of his father and depression in his inner circle. The intense first track and the quiet closer are intended to represent the return to a peaceful state of mind.
Despite having released over 50 albums since the mid '90s under multiple aliases and with collaborators including Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto, Mur is Deupree's first solo album on vinyl.
